WHO I AM
Hello world !
I’m Giovanni (in art Increased Control) – sound designer and composer based in Berlin.
Since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by dystopian video games and films, sci-fi, thrillers, and dark atmospheres — drawn to the strange, undefinable emotions they evoke.
I explore these sensations through sound, experimenting with modular, analog, and digital synthesis to create immersive and personal sonic worlds.
I aim to guide listeners to surrender to time, embrace their emotions, and encounter the most primal fears in a unique auditory experience.

My modular system
I’ve carefully assembled my modular system with a focus on cinematic sound design. While I believe almost anything can be recreated on a laptop today, my modular setup lets me step away from the screen and follow the flow of sound — shaping it slowly into what I envision.
